Be sure to grab your umbrella in January when the average rainfall is 4.6 inches. If you need to plan a special event that requires sunny skies, you may be safest in July when there is no measurable rainfall.

List prices in the Hollywood area are typically from $600,000 to just under $1-million. In nearby neighborhoods, affordable houses for a lower budget can be found in a strip between Los Feliz and Little Armenia, where, homes can list for as low as $425,000. Still, most listings in the area are posted at $500,000 or above, and in Hollywood Heights, Hollywoodland and parts of Los Feliz, prices can reach from around $1 million to just over $2 million.
