West Hollywood is one of the most walkable cities in California.  The energy is palpable as you walk down the streets to some of the best restaurants and nightclubs in Los Angeles.  The LGBT-friendly area has beautiful residential homes, highrises, and massive estates in the hills.  Land is scarce and so valuable in this area, that many developers are buying old bungalows, tearing them down, and building massive modern homes in their place. That practice is changing the character of the area, but the heart of the neighborhood is still very present.
