Each week I tour properties that are new on the market to make sure I keep up with the all of the inventory. I video my tours to show my clients what’s new. This week was Glassel Park and Highland Park in East Los Angeles.
Each week I like to tour new properties that come on the market and this week I got to tour three homes for sale in Glassel Park and Highland Park. These areas are in east Los Angeles, and offer a lot of different types of real estate. Highland Park has become quite the popular area as more and more homes in nearby Silverlake and Los Feliz are becoming increasingly more expensive. You will definitely get a bigger bang for your buck out here. Sections of Highland Park are in an HPOZ, which means Historical Preservation Overlay Zone. What is that? It basically means you will have restrictions on how you can alter the outside of your property. A HPOZ board will review your request which must be submitted in writing and decide if your proposal fits the historic nature of your building. Some people don’t like being told what they can or cannot do to a property, but others love the integrity of a historic neighborhood. If you’re looking for property in the area, make sure you check if it’s in a HPOZ. There is a lot of craftsman style homes in the area, but you’ll also find some modern homes too.
Below are all of the homes for sale in the Glassel Park and Highland Park areas. If you’d like more information for any of these properties, or would like to meet for a buyer consultation, please call me directly at 213-268-6832 or email me at felipe@felipecrook.com
